Our Grapes

Penny Black Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard in the Rogue Valley producing premium Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Rhône varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Our vines grow on Medford silty clay loam soils with favorable slopes, supporting healthy growth and balanced fruit. We offer both mechanical and manual harvesting, along with reliable drought protection from our 1,000,000-gallon irrigation reservoir, ensuring consistent, high-quality grapes for winemakers.

Our Testimonials

“We’ve made wine from this vineyard for several years and we’re happy to partner with the new owners acquiring the now named Penny Black Vineyards located in Jacksonville, Oregon. The fruit quality can deliver ripeness and flavor, and the vineyard team has always been responsive and collaborative to produce the best results for the vineyard and for us as the winery client. We look forward to future vintages with the team.”
